Terms of use
Last updated: August 8, 2026
Plain-English terms for a free educational site. Using Computer Learning Academy means you accept what follows.
What this site is
Computer Learning Academy publishes free educational material about computing, AI, programming, and related technology: tutorials, cheat sheets, reference pages, and explainers. It is a learning resource, not a professional service. No account is required and nothing here is sold to you.
Educational use, not professional advice
Content here is provided for general education. It is notprofessional, legal, financial, or security advice, and it is not a substitute for the official documentation of any product we write about. Technology changes quickly: versions ship, commands change, licenses are revised, and security guidance evolves. We verify against primary sources and cite versions where they matter, but you should confirm anything load-bearing against the vendor’s own current documentation before relying on it in production or in any decision that carries risk.
Where we describe security practices, licenses, or model capabilities, we aim to be precise about what is verified and what is not — but the responsibility for decisions made from that information remains yours.
Using our content
You are welcome to read, print, and share links to anything here, and to use the commands, code snippets, and configuration examples in your own projects — personal or commercial — without asking permission or paying anything. That is what they are for.
Please do not republish substantial portions of the written articles as your own work, or scrape the site wholesale. If you quote from it, a link back is appreciated. The site’s name and visual identity remain ours.
Third-party links and trademarks
We link extensively to official documentation, model cards, repositories, and other external resources. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices — their terms and privacy policies apply when you visit them. Product names, logos, and trademarks mentioned here belong to their respective owners, and their use is descriptive: it does not imply any affiliation with, or endorsement by, those companies.
Availability and changes
The site is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or permanently available, and we may add, change, correct, or remove content at any time — including correcting published material when we find it wrong. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for loss or damage arising from use of, or reliance on, anything published here.
Privacy
How data is handled when you visit is described separately in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
Contact
Questions about these terms, corrections to published content, or anything else can be sent to hello@computerlearningacademy.com. Corrections in particular are welcome — if something here is wrong, we want to fix it.
