Privacy Policy
Your privacy
Last updated: August 8, 2026
Computer Learning Academy is a free learning site. It was built to be useful without asking you to register or hand over personal information. This page explains, in plain English, exactly what happens to data when you read it.
No accounts, ever
You never need to register, log in, or give an email address to read anything here.
Nothing sold or shared
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. There is no advertising or data broker relationship behind this site.
No tracking cookies
This site currently runs no analytics and sets no tracking or advertising cookies at all.
Search stays on your device
The site search runs entirely in your browser against content already downloaded with the page. What you type is never sent anywhere.
What we collect
Information you give us: none. There are no accounts, logins, or forms that submit to us. The contact page opens a message in your own email program — nothing reaches a server of ours until you choose to press send, and at that point it is simply an email between you and us.
Information collected automatically: effectively none. This site currently runs no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking cookies. As with any website, our hosting provider automatically processes the technical information needed to deliver a page to you — such as your IP address and browser type — as part of ordinary server operation and security. We do not build profiles from it, and we do not maintain our own database of visitor information.
Cookies
This site sets no tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies. If that ever changes, a consent banner will appear before any such cookie is set, this page will say so, and both will ship in the same update — the policy is generated from the site’s actual configuration rather than maintained separately.
Who processes this data
The site is hosted on Amazon Web Services, which processes requests in order to deliver pages to you. No analytics or advertising provider receives data about your visit, because none is running.
Your choices and rights
- We do not sell your personal information.
- Under laws such as the GDPR and CCPA you have rights to access or delete personal data held about you. Since we hold no personal data about visitors, there is generally nothing for us to retrieve or erase — but you are welcome to contact us with any question.
- Your browser’s privacy settings, tracking protection, and ad blockers all work normally here; nothing on this site attempts to detect or defeat them.
Children’s privacy
This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
A note on accuracy
Computer Learning Academy publishes educational material. We verify facts against primary sources and cite versions where they matter, but technology changes quickly — always check the official documentation before relying on anything here for production work. See the terms of use for more.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the site evolves; the “Last updated” date above always reflects the current version. Questions about privacy can be sent to hello@computerlearningacademy.com.
